how to order
To place your order, please visit our SHOP. We offer a wide variety of absolutely delicious, gourmet layer cakes, cupcakes, desserts, French macarons, and ice creams.
MULTIPLE ITEMS TO PUCHASE: To purchase multiple dozens of one selected item or multiple items, please be sure to select the PURCHASE button so your item may be inserted into your CART. Feel free to check the items in your cart when you check out. You will have the option to go back to edit your CART before completing your order.
Please select your preferred cake flavor or dessert flavor from our list on our SHOP section. Or feel free to view our MENU to choose cake flavors NOT currently featured on our SHOP menu.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: If you would like a flavor that is NOT currently on our SHOP menu, please place your specific flavor in the NOTES section when you check out. That way, once we print your order, we know exactly how to process your order. Not all of our flavors are on our SHOP section so please be sure to view our MENU for more gourmet flavors. Our SHOP section is a list of our client’s most requested flavors. Feel free to customize your flavors. After all, we are your personal baker! :o).
DELIVERY: PLEASE BE ADVISED: When you are placing your order for delivery, our system indicates SHIPPING for DELIVERY. Please select the correct county for your delivery location or your order will be ON HOLD. Refunds are a service we do not provide. In-house credits are provided.
PICK UPS: Order pick-ups are no longer available. We operate from our commercial kitchen at late hours so our staff members are not available for order pick-ups. However, DMV delivery is a continued service we offer.
Once you place your order, you will receive a receipt confirmation number.
when to order
A 3-day advance notice is required for layer cakes and desserts. A 7-day advance is necessary for custom cakes, tiered cakes, tea parties, and dessert bar catering. We accept a limited number of orders per week. We HIGHLY recommend securing your event date by placing your order earlier than required.

An automatic receipt number is generated after placing your online order. Please accept this receipt number as your confirmation which ensures your delivery (AKA Shipping).
We are super excited to create your special occasion cake and desserts for your upcoming event! We share your excitement, and we appreciate your order. However, multiple inquiries (emails and phone calls) regarding your order status prior to your pickup or delivery date is unnecessary (with all due respect). Although we are a small business and this may be your first time ordering with us, please understand we are a professional company that provides on time, stellar service & products strictly according to your specifications. If changes are to be made after placing your order, please be sure to contact us via phone, email, or voice mail.

Sheet cakes, 2D and 3D cakes are a service we do not provide.
custom cakes
Inspiration pictures (Pinterest photographs, drawings, images) are used only as a guide for us to create a unique dessert for you. We do not recreate, copy, or duplicate other artists work as it is their intellectual property as well as a copywrite infringement and unlawful. … However, we will concentrate on the elements you find attractive in the inspiration pictures in order to create a custom cake for you and your guests to enjoy.
Please email your inspiration picture to Cotton@TieredandPetite.com. Please be sure to indicate which elements from the inspiration picture you would like added to your cake. Sugar flowers, design complexity, edible images, metallic finishes, gold leaf, and complex edible decorations are an additional cost. Sheet cakes, 2D and 3D cakes are a service we do not provide.

Afterwards, a separate invoice (for additional design elements) will follow for the remaining balance. *Please note: the cake designs listed on our SHOP page can be altered. Please feel free to contact us via email, phone, or voice mail for questions, concerns, or additional information. We require a 7-day advance notice for custom orders.

We use ONLY the finest, high quality couverture chocolates (not candy melts), cocoa powders imported from France, Italy and Venezuela (not the local grocer’s). These nuances are reflected in our pricing. We use Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans and European style French butter (not oil or grease) to create our exceptional delectable treats. You’ll taste the difference!
Our buttercream layer and tiered cakes are priced at per slice. Our white chocolate fondant and modeling chocolate are made from scratch using French chocolate.
We offer baked goods all made from scratch and made to order (never frozen or made days ahead). Our moist, buttery, tender 4-layer cakes reach 7”- 9” in height. Layers have 3 fillings then iced in our Italian meringue buttercream. Refunds are a service we do not provide. A 30-day in-house credit is issued.
Our cupcakes are 3” tall and beautifully decorated with edible flowers, 23-karat gold leaf, silver leaf, glitter, gold dusted fresh berries and tempered chocolate gems. *To achieve superior flavor and texture, please remove your chilled cake from the fridge 45-minutes prior to consumption to enjoy at room temperature (72º) due to its high butter content. Refunds are a service we do not provide. A 30-day in-house credit is issued.
